Joshu (pronounced: joh-shoo) is the first step in becoming a certified instructor. Literally translated to "helper," a Joshu is an "apprentice" instructor.

In order to become Joshu, a student must be at least 16 years of age, hold the rank of 1 Kyu Brown Belt, be a member in good standing of our "Team Elite" Leadership Program and enrolled in our GOLD (Guidance On Leadership Development) Training Program.
